In an address to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Conference in Vienna on Tuesday, AEOI spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said that “Securing nuclear facilities in a safe and suitable location should not be construed as an attempt at concealment.”
According to Kamalvandi, “Iran has consistently faced threats of war and security risks; therefore, it is only natural to protect vital facilities against enemy military aggression.
He also said that Although Iran’s sensitive nuclear facilities are located underground, they have always been under monitoring of the IAEA and its inspections.
