Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Ali Bahreini has his back at the United States over unilateral sanctions and warfare against Iran, saying aggression and blockade are part of a broader strategy to undermine the independence of Iran.
He made the remarks late on Wednesday at the 5th Meeting of the 63rd Session of the Human Rights Council.
Bahreini warned that unilateral coercive measures are instruments of a policy that undermines sovereign equality and peoples’ right to self-determination, according to an excerpt of the remarks published on the Iranian mission’s X account.
