شواهد و قرائن و سابقه ارتش رژیم صهیونیستی در هدف قرار دادن بیمارستانهای مختلف نوار غزه با خمپاره، از جمله بیمارستان المعمدانی، سرنخهای واضحی درباره عاملان جنایت بمباران این بیمارستان به دست میدهد.
به گزارش جوان آنلاین به نقل از مشرق، روز سهشنبه، ۱۷ اکتبر ۲۰۲۳ (۲۵ مهر ۱۴۰۲) حوالی ساعت ۷ شب به وقت محلی فلسطین (۷:۳۰ شب به وقت تهران)، انفجاری در حیاط بیمارستان «المعمدانی» (یا «الأهلی العربی») در شهر غزه، واقع در باریکهی غزه، رخ داد که منجر به شهادت و مجروحیت صدها فلسطینی شد[۱]. این بیمارستان علاوه بر ارائهی خدمات درمانی برای بیماران و مجروحان جنگ اخیر، حیاط خود را به عنوان پناهگاه در اختیار حدود هزار آوارهی فلسطینیای گذاشته بود[۲] که تصور میکردند ماندن در بیمارستان از ماندن در خانه امنتر است[۳]. آمار اولیه، خبر از شهادت حدود ۵۰۰ فلسطینی میداد (به طور دقیقتر، ۴۷۱ کشته[۴]، هرچند این رقم بعداً کاهش پیدا کرد[۵]) و تصاویر هولناکی که از بدنهای قطعهقطعهشدهی قربانیان مخابره شد، رژیم صهیونیستی را در موضع انفعال قرار داد.
شماری از مجروحان بمباران بیمارستان «المعمدانی» در نوار غزه را به بیمارستان «شفا» در فاصلهی حدود یک کیلومتری این بیمارستان آوردهاند. اکثر شهدا و مجروحان را کودکان، زنان و سالمندانی تشکیل میدهند که یا برای مداوا به بیمارستان المعمدانی آمده بودند و یا از بیم بمباران خانههایشان به این بیمارستان پناه آورده بودند.
